- Snow on van Reenen’s pass meant that we had to postpone our departure by 24hours due to closed roads

- Emma enjoyed the basin bath after an after dark arrival at Dwesa – transkei roads are slow due to cattle and people

- another puddle but this one was much deeper, after drowning her gumboots she promptly emptied the water in the Dwesa office much to moms embarrassment.

- Emma on the road to the shop which was supposedly close. It wasn’t but Em loved the walk and spent her time wandering into the bushes to check out the sheeps and cows.

- We organised a guard for a game drive and were told be there early – wait, wait. Eventually someone else had to be fetched as the guard was too partied out to get up – TAB!

- the local posting box and store were Cavan acutally went in and bought something – our city boy.

- This was the first time Murphy worked for us! Some rude man pushed in front of us and nearly wrote us off as well as nearly running over the flag wielding road closed man before stopping. For his trouble he got a rock blasted into his windshield! Missed the boys by 50 cm.
